Hobot 188 can be used in many ways
The window cleaning machine cleans all glass surfaces like windows, glass doors, mirrors, shower cubicles. But the robot can also be used for the cleaning of walls, tiles, grounds or tables.
Even different surfaces within the same area can be cleaned without an interruption, because it can adjust the pressure to the surface automatically. The maximum cleaning area should not be higher than 6 metres and wider than 5 metres.
Strong vacuum ensures firm grip and cleanliness
Two clever cleaning wheels replace an inflexible chassis and allow the Hobot 188 window cleaning robot to move freely on the glass surfaces. For the cleaning two eco-friendly microfibre pads are mounted. A strong centrifugal pump produces strong negative pressure that ensures firm grip on vertical surfaces and that vacuums dust.
Reusable microfiber pads for clean surfaces
The microfibre pads can be washed up to 40 °C and are easily fixed on the cleaning wheels. An elastic band ensures a firm fit and an easy handling when changing the pads.
During the cleaning process a strong negative pressure vacuums dust which sticks to the microfibre cloth. Even if the pad is dirty long and soft fibres prevent the glass from scratches.
Note: Please use microfibre pads by Hobot only for a brilliant glass cleaning.
Firm grip due to safety features
The strong vacuum motor ensures firm grip on smooth glass surfaces. In case of power failure an integrated Lithium polymer battery prevents the window cleaning machine from falling down. Furthermore, the device can be fixed with a safety rope (tensile force: 159 kg).
Fully automatic cleaning and remote control
The robot has three automatic cleaning programms for clean windows without any streaks. After finishing the cleaning programm the robot stops automatically. You can also navigate the Hobot via remote control.
Artificial intelligence supports the automatic window cleaning
The window cleaning robot is equipped with an artificial intelligence (AI technology). With several sensors it is able to detect the window frame and calculates an intelligent cleaning route afterwards. This ensures a thorough cleaning of the whole glass surface.
Hobot 188 vs. Hobot 198
Unlike Hobot 188 Hobot 198 can be controlled via app. It also has a slightly higher electric power (80 vs. 90 W)
Hobot 188 is the right window cleaning robot if
- you are looking for a robot which is able to clean different surfaces (e.g. windows, mirrors, tiles)
- the cleaning areas are ideally limited and not larger than 30 m2
- there are windows in your household that are difficult to access and you don’t like or can’t clean them by yourself
This Hobot model HB-188 is less appropriate if
- you are looking for a window cleaning robot with app control
- you have many gass surfaces without frames
